My Anime Gallery and FanArt Gallery

Loving anime gallery, awesome anime pictures, fanart gallery, doodles, scribbles ? You'd definitely love THESE!

You know, I just want you to introduce to lots of drawn anime characters as much as possible as I want to that's why there are some of the hand drawn anime drawings I have made just for you guys..
My passion in drawings is most primarily focused on sketches and the conventional type of drawings as you can see in my anime gallery.. My favorite anime drawings are primarily being commenced by some simple pencil drawings. I don't pretty much focus on its proportions or should I say, the formal type of drawing. Since I have not really undergone proper training on drawing because I just mainly grew up with it. So, after pencil drawing, I prepare my water colors! Basically, I use poster water color.. So it's pretty much very basic really.

I kinda tweak some bits and pieces of here and there that kinda made my anime gallery very cool. As you can see in the gallery, I've drawn pretty much all of my favorite anime charaters.

These anime characters as shown are actually hand drawings, believe it or not. I have not really made some computer generated drawings most of them. I just drew them on paper and have it scanned and there you go!

Since I am an avid fan of anime movies and series, I have watched lots of anime characters and even anime action moves so this anime gallery pretty much consist most of my favorite anime characters and sometimes my favorite anime pose for each of my fave characters. So, right now this is currently being built that is why it is not really that formal.

Ladies and gentlemen, ninja and cat girls in school uniforms, you have reached the main part of this website! (Cue in the orchestra) Behold my brethren; I humbly welcome you to my grand gallery! (Cue in echoes)

Anyways, time to browse through and feast your eyes on my gallery, and I hope it inspires you to do your own traditional fanarts. You may also want to use these for anything, just don’t forget to credit!

Here is an archive of the popular animes list and find out why anime is so popular now!

You cannot deny the fact that in this modern era of technology, and online networking, and modern discoveries, anime has also been going to the same trend. True, the world of anime is slowly gaining popularity in almost all parts of the world. It can be manifested through various forms of art and popular anime series and movies.

One might wonder how anime has gotten so very popular nowadays. As far as my memory could remember, during those younger days, the word ANIME is but an alien term to young kids before. POPULAR ANIME HAS AWESOME STORIES

POPULAR ANIME HAS SEXY AND INTRIGUING CHARACTERS
A typical teenager guy would be addicted to a particular anime series or movie if it has at least one sexy and naive little high school girl who is the apple of every guys' eye. This is shown in reverse harem genre movies where the girl next door is the drool of every boys in the movie. Or a typical teenager girl would go gaga over a handsome and mysterious guy in one of the popular animes ever hit the screen.

Anime world is like a restaurant. You come in and a menu is being presented to you and you choose your favorite food. If you love the more omniscient type of anime, there is Dragon Ball Z where anime characters are like gods fighting. If you are more of the action type kind of person, Bleach is the one for you. See, you can have your own favorite anime regardless of your age and likes.

POPULAR ANIME HAS COOL COSTUMES
This is the reason why COSPLAY is born, because animes especially those that are action-oriented in nature have outstanding costumes and out of this world weapons.

POPULAR ANIME ENCOURAGES ARTISTS WORLDWIDE TO DRAW
Thus, the reason why this website is also born. An anime buff such as I am has come to enjoy drawing anime characters and everything about anime. I am positively sure that there are also individuals like me who loves to draw and has come to develop their artistic skills just by watching and learning more about anime.

Anime Conventions - Here's a tribute to the myriad beauty and fascination on anime

Anime Conventions -- Here's a tribute to the myriad beauty and fascination on anime

They have been built and developed due to fans' tribute to anime, manga and Japanese culture in general. These conventions normally entail various activities and events which basically features on anime workshops, anime contests, art shows, cosplay, and other social gathering activities.

They have also been made useful by various studios, distributors, and publishers to showcase their anime related releases.

Such events of the west mostly spawned from similar science fiction and multigenre conventions of the 1980s which featured anime content by tandem. Though many popular shows from Japan had been broadcast by that time, the direct to video market had yet to reach any significant penetration in North America or Europe until the late 1980s. Anime conventions of the west take many cues from those conventions, such as use of a large hotel with a meeting space, spanning 2 days or more of a weekend, invited industry guests, costume dressup, dealers selling various goods, and many other similarities.

The early 1990s saw what would later be the long standing annual conventions, such as Project A-Kon, Anime Expo, and AnimeFest, which continue to run today and number attendance in the several thousands. Similar occasions in other locales, such as Europe and Australia began to take off in the mid 1990s as well. These growth trends follow the popularity and availability of anime to other countries outside of Japan.

Most conventions include contests. Contests can also focus around costumes (or cosplay ), art works (drawn, sculpted, painted), anime-related music videos, video games, dice games, card games, and many other activities. In some cases, tangible prizes have been offered as winnings in these contests.

Most conventions (or their visitors) also hold purely social gatherings, such as dances, room parties, dinners, and more.

Today you'll know more about chibi anime and be able to draw it!

Today you'll know more about chibi anime and be able to draw it!

In Japanese translation, chibi means a small child. The word has only gotten popular upon the onset of chibi anime where anime fans consider chibi as part and parcel of anime and or manga. Consider for example, some series in Kenshi the Battusai where there were instances that chibi anime has been portrayed. Say when a joke has been said or there were bloopers committed, the Kenshi character has been somewhat "chibified" where he became small with round big eyes with the distinct feature of being "too cute"...

Thus, by definition, a chibi anime is a shorter, cuter, and funnier version of the regular anime or manga character but with specifically bigger heads that has been made so for comedic purposes.

It has somehow gained popularity in the anime world primarily for its cuteness factor.. It is but a reminder that anime lovers are still watching a form of cartoon portraying 2d images with the use of rich colors. The are of chibi anime grounds anime cartoons to its basic nature since it portrays child versions of anime characters.

So how come it has become so popular and has been incorporated in most anime series and movies now??! Let's face it, in chibi anime, one can easily say that it is a colorful version of a manga character. It has a certain appeal to it-- with those unusually large head, extreme shiny eyes and little or no nose: anyone can be mystified, if not, be swept away by its cuteness!

Anyways, because of its cuteness factor, most of the kids now would want to draw it. Actually, it is indeed a nice and creative pass time for kids and this would definitely enhance their drawing skills. You can even invite little kids to join drawing chibi anime with you... Just pick your favorite anime character and start from there....

Know more about cherry blossoms in this site.. There's more to like in anime because of "sakura"!

Know more about cherry blossoms in this site.. There's more to like in anime because of "sakura"!

Cherryblossoms or "sakura" in Japanese layman's terms, is a delicate pink or white flower that blooms for a very short period of time, with five notched petals, and is widely used as a decorative motif. It has been considered to be Japan's most beloved flower to the point that it has been rendered to be the country's unofficial flower as it has been highly regarded in Japanese history and culture.

These delicate and beautiful flowers have been included and mentioned in various ancient Japanese literary works especially in Japanese poems, poetry and paintings, if one should really take a notice about it.

Generally, these flowers symbolize the Japanese values of simplicity, purity and fleeting beauty. However, for Japanese warriors or "samurai", these flowers are considered a symbol for the ideal of the military spirit; samurai were expected to give their lives in their prime - falling in battle like cherry blossoms blown down from the trees.

In Japan, the "hanami" or flower-viewing festival, which holds during late March or early May has been inspired to be made due to its tribute to the "sakura" since they usually bloom at these times of months. Hanami has been practiced for centuries now and initially was instituted only by the elite Samurais and Court Elites. Normally, they would enjoy viewing the flowers during parties while they drink sake and eat various Japanese foods. As inspiration would strike, they would write various literary works of art, commonly poems, giving adoration to the beauty of the flower.Such poems indicate the symbolism of the flower to life itself-- vibrant and beautiful yet fleeting and ephemeral.

Today, people still continue to hold the tradition of hanami during such events which still displays the beauty of the flowers. During such festivals, thousands of people fill the parks to hold banquets under the flowering trees, and sometimes these parties go on until late in the evening.

In the field of Japanese anime art , it is also considered to be one of the many significant and special scenes in most anime movies and series. One of the most reoccurring visuals in all of anime is the sight of cherry blossoms gently floating to the ground, with flurries of the petals surrounding on screen characters. Keep in mind, that to the Japanese, the cherry blossom is so special that it sometimes connotes a deep meaning.

It is so popular and famous to the point that a certain anime series has been entitled on its behalf, the CardCaptor Sakura.

Anime Girls - discover the charms of the girls of anime!

Anime Girls - discover the charms of the girls of anime!

Just when you thought you've had enough of anime-- all the action, the romance, the drama, and even the exaggerated anime costumes, here comes a whole new level of enjoyment, the anime women!

True, these ladies of the anime world are quite a sight to see. And they come definitely from all shapes and sizes! With their long and slender legs, their curvacious hips and their long and wavy hair makes one a fan of their anime series or movie.

Anime girls have this very unique female body shape that have been considered an ideal or preferred body shape for a woman specifically for attractiveness reasons. Like most of the cultures being inculcated in some of the countries, the female body has been considered a focus for attention with the intention to bring aesthetic pleasure, physical attraction, and beautiful proportions.

Normally, in every anime movie, a typical anime girl would bring excitement and tension to the guy protagonist of the story causing him to be flustered or be physically attracted-- in a comedic type of way, more often. See how anime school girls draw attention to the male population, if you haven't noticed....

Or in a typical action type genre anime, the typical girl in every anime movie is the more flexible one who knows all the right action stances and moves very agile and at the same time, looking very fierce and attractive. This adds color and beauty to the whole anime plot.

The anime body occurs in a range of shapes. Normally though, the proportions is typically narrower at the waist than at the bust and hips, and usually has one of four basic shapes: banana, pear, apple, or hourglass. The bust, waist, and hips are called inflection points, and the ratios of their circumferences define these basic shapes. Usually, the bust has a bigger area sometimes providing a little cleavage and the "tush" has a healthy and cellulite-free hump making it look very curvy.

Each society develops a general perception of what an ideal female body shape would be like. These ideals are generally reflected in all of anime movies and series. The ideal or preferred female body size and shape has varied over time and continues to vary among cultures but a preference for a small waist has remained fairly constant throughout history. A low waist-hip ratio with bigger bust size has often been seen as the more dashing and often been regarded as an indicator of attractiveness.

Rarely do these anime shows portray women with loose and flabby arms with bulging tummies. If you want, I can hook you up to some of the sexiest anime girls in the world of anime.. Just browse further you guys

Anime characters fall in love like crazy! Here are some of the best anime couples for your delight!

Anime characters fall in love like crazy!! Here are some of the best anime couples for your delight!

Who says anime characters are all action and no passion?! I bet most of you would never have an inkling that these anime characters are top-calibre lovers. And I am so definitely sure that these paired up anime lovers are far better romantic partners than most of us are. We might be able to learn some of the tricks of the trade from the guys in the anime couples which I believe would be useful to some of you manly guys out there who are desperate to win their girl over but afraid to get in touch with their feminine side! So, try guys to learn from these anime couples alright?!

Sigh!! You know, regardless of what genre or theme every anime movie or series has, it will remain bland and unexciting without some pinch of love! And being the anime lover that I am, I have searched the web for the top anime couples I thought you would find interesting and cute..... Tell me which of these anime couples you love the best. :)

10. Sorata and Arashi , from X: the TV series. These two may be the "darkest" couple on the list, but only because X is such a heady blend of supernatural, good vs. evil, and universal stakes. It takes an Ice Queen like Arashi to sort out the womanizing Sorata, and you're rooting for them from the first moment. If only they stay alive long enough to enjoy it...

9. Tenchi and Ryoko… or Ayeka from Tenchi Muyo!. I know, I know… I can hear the groans from here. But you have to admit that the question of which damsel would win the fair hero Tenchi kept people wondering and fighting for years. Whether you pull for the hot-headed space-pirate Ryoko or the powerful space-princess Ayeka, Tenchi hopes to prove that he's not only some chosen alien-human hybrid able to save the world (repeatedly), but maybe even a good man. Setting the standard for harem comedies for years to come, Tenchi wins either way.

8. Kyo Sohma and Tohru Honda of Fruits Basket. In a dark, depressing anime, Tohru's gritty, determined cheerfulness might just be the only light, and it does not go unappreciated by the abused, neglected cat Kyo. Of course, some readers/viewers would prefer to see Tohru with "the Prince," Yuki, that's just tough. It's the "one who was never loved" who needs love the most, and Tohru is the only one strong enough to love the alley-cat Kyo.

7. Miaka Yuki and Tamahome from Fushigi Yugi. These anime couple make everyone's favorite couple's list, but there's a good reason for that. They struggle, they fight, they overcome. They may not be the cutest (Syaoran and Sakura, anyone?) or the hottest couple (maybe Amon and Robin, or Mars' Rei and Kira), but they are definitely the most undying. The situations they face are legitimately heartbreaking and testing, and they've earned their place on the list.

6. Spike Spiegel and Julia from Cowboy Bebop. They may be doomed from the beginning, and Julia may not actually feature very much in the show per se, but her specter haunts Spike and informs the action from beginning to end, or from end to end, depending upon how you view the chronology of the show. Julia's personality can even be said to live on, in some ways, in Faye Valentine, another strong-willed woman Spike can't help but like.

5. Kyoko and Godai from Maison Ikkoku. About the anime couple: Godai is part hapless romantic comedy hero and part everyman; who doesn't sympathize with the earnest young man stuck trying over and over to get into college so he can make a life for himself? Meanwhile, he falls in love with his slightly older gorgeous landlady, the gentle, intelligent widow Kyoko. A classic of comedy, drama, and anime in general, Kyoko and Godai show how convoluted the road to true love can be.

4. Kaoru Kamiya and Himura Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin. In the middle of this most shonen of shonen samurai series, there lies a gentle romance. Whether you prefer the OAV or the manga ending, their romance endures over years and survives Kenshin's wanderings, his violent past, constant danger, and maybe even life-ending diseases. In a show with a theme of redemption and the assertion of life in the face of death-mongering, their romance serves to affirm the basic humanity of even the most dangerous of characters.

3. Kagome Higurashi and Inuyasha from InuYasha. Bravely loving even the most frustrating and irritating of demon-dogs, Kagome manages to survive and even transcend possibly being a reincarnation of InuYasha's lost love, Kikyo, who herself shows up to create a nice, tidy love triangle. However, it's clear from the beginning that Kagome is a much better match for InuYasha than Kikyo is. Despite the best efforts of Koga, InuYasha's wolf-demon rival, a host of demons who want to defeat InuYasha and/or eat Kagome, and the machinations of the nefarious Naraku, the pair triumphs. An amusing side-couple is that of the businesslike Sango and the womanizing monk Miroku; often used for comic relief, they are themselves quite an interesting couple and a good match.

2. Deedlit and Parn , from Record of Lodoss War. A classic: a knight and his lady, a human and an elf, a fighter and a magic-user. Deedlit and Parn set the standard for subtle, under-spoken but definite love stories for ages to come. We didn't have to see love scenes or babies to know that they would die for each other, and that Deed might just pull an Arwen and die with her short-lived human beloved.

1. Ranma and Akane from Ranma ½ . This anime couple is as prototypical as it gets. Akane is a spitfire, loved by Ranma for the very reasons he can't bring himself to admit he even likes her, while Ranma is as reliable as the wind and as impossible to tame. Anything less would bore her as much as the viewers. Though they both have umpteen-gazillion rivals, they muddle through and, not unlike Takahashi's Kagome and InuYasha, clearly fall in love over the length of the series. You never stop rooting for them, even when you, like their partner, want to strangle one or both of them. Highlights include the OAVs An Akane to Remember and The Two Akanes, Ranma, Look At Me! What can we say? Takahashi knows how to write squabbling lovers who are also equals and interesting.

The character of love in both anime and manga is as varied and different as the titles themselves, delving into forbidden love, desperate love, sweet love, young love, first love, and final love, but just like the real world, no two people are exactly alike, and no romance will be exactly like another. Anime and manga both have an ability to insert romance into titles that may not seem to be a natural for it, and yet it works. That's why anime couples are very popular. The above ten barely scratch the surface of the variety and styles possible, but they are my favorites, and maybe they can inspire you to find your own favorites.

The world of anime music in just one click of a button!

I myself have been one after appreciating these nitty-gritty details. Yup, I also love anime music, anime songs, mp3, J-rock, J-pop

I've seen a lot of heads scratched after people decide to try out my mp3 player. Why? It’s because my player is FILLED with anime songs. I guess you can imagine the reaction of someone who’s clueless about anime when he/she tries to listen to one of these songs. I bet it wouldn’t suit their tastes – and it’s basically because anime music has very unique sound – actually, it’s a genre unto itself!

Most people term these songs as J-rock or J-pop, J for Japanese off course. Their music is so special that it gets to have “Japanese” stamped into it! For those who are not fans of anime, they only see these songs as nothing more than themes used for the opening and ending credits for the anime series it came from and I guess they wouldn’t really like it ‘cause they think they sound too strange for their ears. Anime fans on the other hand adore the style – from a unique blend of classical music and rock to pop and hip-hop, anime songs, like anime itself, can cater to ANY ear. There’s just a great menagerie of hybrid sounds that would surely keep fans glued to their music players.

I love listening to anime songs. Not just for the enjoyment factor, I primarily listen to these songs because, not only do they sound great, but I relive my favorite scenes every time I hear them. When I listen to “1/3 No Kanjou”, battle scenes of Kenshin Himura and his rivals flash through my mind – it’s like watching that great action again while the song plays in my headphones. It’s just purely fun to listen to these songs – and with new anime titles coming up with even better sounding music, the playlist would never end.

We can link you up to some great anime mp3 sources so you won’t have to miss out on all the fun!

If you're really into drawing, you might want to learn some tips on drawing anime poses !!

If you're really into drawing, you might want to learn some tips on drawing anime poses !!

Of course, you wouldn’t be drawing stationary subjects like this forever. Soon, you may want to draw your subjects in “action poses”. Now the tricky factor here rises even higher. It’s going to take another chapter to give you guys more tips on making great looking action poses so I’ll just give you some samples here. Not to mention un-clothed, really crude quickly sketched samples.

Sorry, I’m just a bit too excited to make the content for this site. I’ll try and upload more samples in the future – or you can just visit the gallery to see drawings with characters in action poses there.

Take note of the third sample. Sometimes angles really make things look different – and you also have to take the angles into account if you’re making action poses.

For example, if a human being jumps, he won’t shoot up clean and straight. He may slant a bit and will flail his arms around and the angles will change– you may see more of his legs and feet or his head arms or shoulders. The most important thing that you’ll need in making action poses is some knowledge of human anatomy and a sense for angles.

Again, practice will help you a lot. Have a friend or family member pose for you or even use yourself as a subject. Studying the human body will really help in making awesome looking action poses.

Discover the innocence and excitement of anime school girls!!

Discover the innocence and excitement of anime school girls!!

By literal definition, school girls are girls attending primary or secondary school. However, in the anime world anime school girls are those titillating and giddy girls who are the apple of the anime boys.

You can definitely know one when you see one... A teenage girl wearing short plaited school skirt which is waaaay too short that you can even see her undies, with a skimpy school shirt and sometimes with a sexy tie to flatter her physique, carrying books-- hair carefully tied or in bun, or loose.. Sometimes wearing a smart pair of eyeglass. They are often caught simply standing with their books held against her chest or they are seen running with their long legs and their shirts moving with the motion.

Normally, anime school girls wear the "sailor outfit", a common style of uniform worn by female middle school and high school students, and occasionally, elementary school students.

The uniform generally consists of a blouse attached with a sailor-style collar and a very short pleated skirt. There are seasonal variations for summer and winter: sleeve length and fabric are adjusted accordingly. A ribbon is tied in the front and laced through a loop attached to the blouse. Several variations on the ribbon include neckties, bolo ties, neckerchiefs, and bows.

Common colors are navy blue, white, grey, light green and black.Shoes, socks, and other accessories are sometimes included as part of the uniform. These socks are typically navy or white. The shoes are typically brown or black penny loafers. Although not part of the prescribed uniform, alternate forms of legwear (such as loose socks, knee-length stockings, or similar) are also commonly matched by more fashionable girls with their sailor outfits.

I have to admit, teenage anime school girls are sometimes bordering towards pornography and sexuality.. However, that is not the case here. We advocate the agility, charm, and intelligence of the anime school girls.. And actually we can give you lots of anime school girl icons for your pleasure and delight..

There are many anime series to choose from--hundreds of beautiful girls. But these are the hottest anime school girls of them all. The competition out there was intense so these are definitely the top girls. The anime drawings are gorgeous and you can see that the creators took a lot of time into drawing these girls. Enjoy!

Haruhi Suzumiya from the The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
The story follows the title character, Haruhi Suzumiya, an anime school girl who can unconsciously change reality, and her strange antics with her school club, the SOS Brigade, which she founded to investigate any mysterious happenings. Haruhi forcibly drafts her cynical classmate Kyon who narrates the series, and similarly recruits three additional members into her club: the silent bibliophile Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the friendly "mysterious exchange student" Itsuki Koizumi.

Tokiko Tsamura from Buso Renkin
The story begins when an anime school girl student Kazuki Muto is killed one night saving a mysterious girl from a monster, only to wake up in his school dorm, believing it to have been a dream. However, he soon finds out that dream wasn't a dream at all when a giant serpentine monster attacks him and his sister. Tokiko Tsumura, the girl he saved, explains that the monster is a homunculus. Kazuki had been attacked and killed by it when rescuing Tokiko. However she, feeling responsible for him, revived him by placing a Kakugane medallion in his chest, serving as a replacement heart.

Kaname Chidori from Full Metal Panic
The series follows Sousuke Sagara, a member of the covert anti-terrorist private military organization known as Mithril, tasked with protecting Kaname Chidori, a spirited Japanese school girl.

Ayu Tateishi from Ultra Maniac
The romantic comedy series features seventh-grader girl Ayu Tateishi, a tennis club member, and her transfer student friend, Nina Sakura, who is actually a trainee witch from the magical kingdom.

Maron Kusakabe from Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne
The story is about the adventures of a high school girl, Maron Kusakabe, who is the reincarnation of Jeanne D'Arc and transforms into a magical girl kaito—phantom thief— to collect the scattered pieces of God's power which are also coveted by demons hiding in beautiful art works.

Sailor Moon from Sailor Moon
The major characters—the Sailor Senshi (literally "Sailor Soldiers"; frequently called "Sailor Scouts" in many Western versions), school girls—can transform into heroines named for the moon and planets (Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, etc.). The use of "Sailor" comes from a style of girls' school uniform popular in Japan, the sērā fuku ("sailor outfit"), on which Takeuchi modeled the Senshi's uniforms.

If you're hooked into drawing face and/or drawing tips on anime, you've come to the right place!

If you're hooked into drawing face and/or drawing tips on anime, you've come to the right place!

So let's now begin with the informal drawing tips 101 particularly on drawing face. Take note that my tips on drawing is not a cookie-cutter way of drawing. I draw anime, hands, feet and faces as according to my fashion.

I like drawing faces. Drawing face has always been one of my favorite parts in drawing anime. I always think that you can always make an anime fan art look better if you draw the character’s faces the best you can possibly make. For some of my drawingtips, Here’s a VERY quick sample sketch showing how I draw them anime faces.

As you can see, it’s the traditional method – I bet you’ve seen this many times in other tips on drawing, not just those anime ones. First part on drawing the face, I make an oblong-like shape, making the lower part a little pointy and then proceed to making the guidelines for the eyes, nose and mouth. The reason for that is to keep the face proportionate. You do have to change those lines though if you take the face’s angle into account. I’ll try showing you how I do that some other time (too lazy, :D).

Then comes the hair and then I add the eyes, nose and mouth and then voila! I’ve made me an random anime face (who kinda’ looks pissed, hehe!). Most of the time though, I skip the first part. Sometimes, I won’t even go through all the lines part and just go straight to drawing the whole thing up. I do that usually during quick sketches. Again, you can always play around with it.

Drawing anime tips

Count on this page if you like to know a thing or two about drawing anime tips...

I guess I’ve already given you guys a short overview of how I started drawing. And you may have also noted that I always mention trial and error- which I usually apply for tips in drawing.

I wasn’t properly trained, so it would be a little tricky for me to show you how to draw anime ‘cause my techniques are know-how’s born from years of well, you guess it, trial and error. So, I guess you'll just have to expect for some simple drawing anime tips

If you like, you can click here for some tips on how I draw some simple anime drawings, particularly on how I draw anime face. Furthermore, over time I have managed to improve my drawing prowess and later developed and adopted some drawing anime tips of my own on how to draw anime characters in full body and anime characters in action poses..

Better yet, if you're serious into anime drawing, you might want to know some tips on how I draw anime hands and feet and most especially, the most expressive part, on how I draw anime eyes.

The only advice I can give you for tips in drawing guys is just to continue with what you like to do and what you know you’re good at. Don’t let go of that pencil. Try to use your idle time to just scribble and doodle random things – it will help you hone your skills and make your hands used to the feeling of it. Not to mention it’s pretty fun and amusing.

Try shading around, do curvy lines, draw a giant machine gun wielding clown with bunny ears rampaging through a sprawling city and whatever, and then see what you end up with – a whole lot of mess I bet! But messes are good. What I like about drawing is that there aren’t really any fixed rules.

You can go wild with it and have fun (At least that’s how I envision what art is to me). The point is, it’ll all be a form of practice for you. Just don’t forget one thing – don’t stop drawing!

If you love Sasuke, then let's learn to draw Sasuke...

If you love Sasuke, then let's learn to draw the guy...

He is one of my favorite characters so I thought I'd give you some tips on how to draw him... Well basically, this is not a "drawing tip" per se but I made a video on how I draw him and perhaps you might get some points on your own after watching this video.

Normally, I usually start on the proportion of the head which basically is my foundation in every drawing. The face and/or the angle or feature of it is the first thing I draw whenever I draw anime characters. So as you can see, I have made a guide so as I could put his eyes, nose and lips in their respective proper places and at the right angles.

Then I proceed with the extras.. I now draw his hair. This is a bit complicated guys because you have to make it look real and "hairy"... Hairs are very tricky to draw since you have to consider every strand of it as to where it should be positioned considering the posture or action move of the anime character that you are about to draw.

So, I guess I'll just leave it up to my drawing so you can see how i do it... So while you're at it, I thought i'd give you some info about him.

This particular anime character is a fictional character in the Naruto manga and anime series who is a member of the Uchiha clan, a highly skilled clan of ninjas allied to the village of Konohagakure. His primary motivation throughout the series is to avenge the destruction of his entire clan by killing his brother, Itachi Uchiha, a task he pursues at all costs. While he was initially cold and singularly driven by his revenge, he becomes more empathetic through his relationships with other characters, notably Naruto Uzumaki, whom he comes to consider as a rival.

My mother used to say, if you can't find a way, then make a way... Welp, I've been indeed making ways to pursue my passion for both anime and drawing. And for my drawing anime kit, well, that's a gray area over there-- coz I kinda don't have alot. Being brought up in a family where it's a bit hard to make two ends meet so I find ways.

My first drawing medium were broken crayons and used pencil colors. They're not that much but they're the ones available so I settled for them that time. Back then, I was a wreck. I drew everywhere and every time so it would have caused me a WHOLE lot of crayons and pencil colors. My anime preferences were more of the shounen type so I drew lots of SailorMoon characters and stuff. Crayons were not really that good in execution as they were very limited in color.

Later, my drawing anime kit shifted to water colors. They're way better because I begin to blend colors by then. It dawned to me the remarkable idea of being able to do shadowing and getting the right color I wanted through combining one or more colors! So that's awesome

Finally, I settled for poster colors. I find them way better than water colors since i could do better shading and color combinations there.

And so, one might ask: what would be the best drawing anime kit for you fanart artist/lover?!! Actually, there is no specific drawing anime kit best for everyone.. It actually depends on the person. Well, you could shop for a nice drawing anime kit suited just for you....

Thing is, explore and experiment any drawing medium you wanna use.. Who knows you might just be loving the simple drawing pens instead of charcoal and stuff... Don't be afraid to experiment!!
